How we make and maintain guides

This page explains who is responsible for the content, where AI fits, and how readers can request a correction.

Responsibility

Clover Li is the named editor responsible for publication decisions. AI tools do not publish directly to the site.

Topic selection

A topic must answer a specific reader question and fit the site's focus on AI-assisted writing, research, review, or small digital products. Search demand can help prioritize work, but it is not enough reason to publish a page.

Drafting and practical review

Each guide needs a defined input, a usable output, an example or decision rule, and a clear human check. The editor also asks what could fail, which data should not enter an AI tool, and whether the instructions still help a reader who never visits the product page.

Sources and claims

Changing product facts should link to official documentation or another primary source. Numbers, dates, policy statements, and named product features are checked before publication. Editorial advice is described as advice. A missing source is treated as a gap, not an invitation to fill the paragraph with a guess.

AI assistance

AI may help organize notes, compare outlines, or edit a sentence. The final review removes unsupported details, repetitive template language, and claims that sound more certain than the evidence. Private client material, personal data, and unpublished research are not used as examples without permission and appropriate redaction.

Updates and corrections

The original publication date stays attached to the article. A separate review date records a later quality check. Broken links and outdated claims are corrected or removed. To report an error, email [email protected] with the page URL, the sentence in question, and a supporting source when available.

Advertising and products

Advertising and Gumroad sales may fund the site. Commercial pages are separate from the guide index and marked noindex. Product links do not buy a positive conclusion, and a guide must explain its core method without requiring a purchase.
